CONGRATULATIONS HUSKERS!!!!
Yes, YOU ARE BACK!!!! What a thrilling victory over a top 5 team in Kansas State. The way the Huskers held Michael Bishop in check for most of the game was amazing!!! Oh wait. That wasn't Michael Bishop..that was Alan Everidge. And that wasn't a top 5 team...that was a horrible 1-5 in conference team.
If anything this unexpected turn of Husker heroics has done something that may not have been capable before: Now, the nation will see the "Big" red take on an overmatched team on National television...live from Ft. Worth...or some other exotic destination. Maybe then, people around the country will see what the rest of us have seen for two years now.
Congrats again! And remember to keep your football team in mind as another exciting season of Husker basketball gets set to begin!!!! (It is starting isn't it? I haven't seen a single newspaper article, or heard a word about it. Oh well, I'm sure we'll see them at the final 4 and they'll get their due.)

I believe that this was a moral victory for K-state. In addition, kutos to the Papillion alumnus at K-state QB for not going to Nebraska!
This is great. The Huskers are bowl eligible. They think they are going somewhere for the holidays. I've got a better idea.
Just because they are eligible, means nothing.
Here's what I see happening. Colorado blows out the Huskers 63-10 in Boulder. Colorado goes on to get pounded by Texas again. The Huskers? They stay home, skipped over by any bowl with a brain. Maybe they could play Temple in the Tidy Bowl or something.
But I think it would be great if the Huskers got bitchslapped by the bowl committies, and left home despite being eligible.
I don't really care one way or another. THey'll never be the same..but oh well. I just liked the picture. I thought it was kinda fitting.

Congratulations to you and Mizzou on a fine second half El-foldo against pitiful K-State, a team you gleefully trashed last week as awful. Missouri has no heart. You have no brains.
