Uhhh...hello?????

24 hours from the first shot, and not a single "Fuck you" or "We're going to stomp your team this week."

What gives?

Big sale at Kohls this week?
Yardwork?
So confident you're already on Texas boards running smack?

Come on now..you guys are better than this.

AJ,

While there is certainly a sense of pride in the history of our program, most of the faithful I hang around with are just becoming accustomed to this mediocrity.

Most of us have gone from a place where we were devastated when the Big Red lost, to a state of acceptance in our poor play. So in response to the lack of smack...we're not the most confident bunch. I would love to sling it at you, but I'm fairly convinced (or at least won't be surprised) that Mizzou will kick us right in the pussy.

OHF..a very weak effort. You get an F. And yes...I will take my sellout money and buy that Big Mac I've been saving up for.

Besides..it's been up there for like 3 months. You just now noticed?

Come on man..you're better than that.

PS - the Team not worthy of your time has beaten you (handily) 2 of 3 years..including last year, where they had over 500 yards on you.

hey aj, check out this link. it's a perfect illustration of husker arrogance. apparently being told "good game" by okie state fans is arrogant and condescending, but clapping for another team is polite. classic.

AJ,

Put these clowns in their place.

Oh we are so classy. What about the "great docotr tome putting his first string offense back in the game in the foruth quarter against KSU after they had closed the point spread. Yea real classy program.

Preach on my brother. You have the support of the one member of the purple nation.

"Good teams have 3-4 losses", is highly debateable. I'd almost agree if the losses were to "great" teams. The Huskers losing to Oklahoma State doesn't make the Huskers a "good" team.

The Huskers are inconsistent, which as I recall is usually not the sign of a "good" team. Huskers are an "average" team at best.

(For some of you, instead of reading the content, please comment merely on the grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors, because chances are the points discussed were well above your ability to comphrehend in the first place.)

BHG cracks me up.

The problem is...Steve O set the bar so ridiculously high with his homer arrogance and unrealistic expectations that it's nearly impossible to reach.

He destroyed your tradition and image after a 9-3 season. The truth is, Nebraska is of course a "good" team. There's now question there. The problem is...if you fire a 9-3 coach who just went to the national title game...how on earth do you accept anything else?

If I was a Hick fan...and thank god I'm not...I'd be at south stadium right now with pitchforks and torches. What he did to your program...despite my giddiness that he did...is a disgrace.

Grammar or spelling is not a requirement to respond on this site...nor is it to post actual blog entries for that matter.

Spelling is overrated anyway.

Granted the word "good" in this situation is relative and subjective to say the least.

Given your definition of "good" vs. "average". I would be fearful of the girl you call "good" looking, she'd probably have three teeth, a gnawed off ear, and patches of hair falling out.

Let's see, was firing a 9-3 coach a "good" move, nope!! What coach wants to follow that act. Apparently head coaches that hire inept defensive coordinators and put his NFL team "on the clock" after the final regular season game.

"Good" coaches make adjustments. Callahan and Cosgrove don't appear to meet the "good" critieria.

If you mean paranoid in the sense that I'm worried that Stinky P, Callahan and Cosgrove are going to continue down the path of perpetual mediocrity because there is no way that Pederson fires his golden boy, and Perlman doesn't have enough marbles to swat a fly much less fire Pederson, then you're right. Of course, with your definition of "good", who knows what is meant by "paranoid".

NEBRASKA FANS ARE THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN.

I will not give my name.....but I will say this. My son played for Mizzou. The Mizzou fans were not 1/10th the fans the Husker fans are. They are so into there team. So nice to traveling fans. Keep it up Husker fans. Ignore losers like this.
