Good luck to your tigers today AJ. I don't think they need it, but as unlucky as they have been....maybe they do.

The pain and agony of 30 years will be taken out tonight. The red running will be the blood of 30 years of Huskers running deep upon the field of battle. When all is said and done, the Huskers will be a memory and the glory that is Mizzou football will spoken about in a quiet whisper for all time.

Congrats AJ, I have only lived the Lincoln nightmares on the radio or TV, I can only imagine what you have lived through. 52-10 (I don't count the final last gasp of relevance TD) on Homecoming no less. Does Nbreds win another game this year?

Polite clapping sound.

Congratulations!

I'd hoped it would be closer, but it's pretty clear the tigers have the sort of team the Huskers used to have, and you run the Spread better than any team I've ever sen.

It really doesn't hurt all that much, because we were never really in it.

I certainly hope it was everything you'd hoped for.

BTW, did the Husker fans give the team a hand as they came off the field?

Now you know why we're considered the best fans in cfb.

Suck it you dumb fucking Huskers. What are you ass clowns gonna do now? Fire another coach?

...golf clap...

I visited one of your sorry boards. People were bitching about the refs. Yeah, the penalties were the reason why you got your asses handed to you. Say, what happened to all those five-star recruits. Too bad none of them can play defense. Or offense.

...golf clap...

52-17 at home with a garbage time touchdown. You suck. You are total losers.

...golf clap...

Can you say say 4-8? Can you say never be good again?

O.k.

Enjoy your post game woody.

You and the rest of the tiger fans just got layed for the first time in 30 years.

Virgins no more!

Good luck the rest of the way.

Watch out for Texas, Oklahoma and Oklaloma State if you see them.

They may just have your number. But who knows until the game is played.

I can't be the only one to be tickled pink by the following events tonight:

1) The Huskers frantically scrambled to the line of scrimmage to get the snap off in the last second of the game in order to score a cosmetic TD against Mizzou's defensive substitutes...to make the score 52-17? All while the defensive starters were dousing Pinkel in Gatorade?

2) Pinkel called off the dogs with 12 minutes to play in the game?

3) Pinkel then sent Blaine Gabbert, the true freshman and decommitted Nebraska Cornhusker, onto the field in order to repeatedly hand the ball off? Including a 4th-and-4 suicide draw by the third-string tailback which essentially was giving Nebraska the ball back out of pity with three minutes to play in a 42-point game?

I'm not really old enough to have lived through all of the suffering, or even the worst of it, but '97 was enough for me, and this shit made every second worth it.

Great blog, AJ.

It goes to show how much recruiting dropped off during the Callahan years -- and how Cosgrove destroyed the defense.

That shouldn't take anything away from the talented team Missouri is. They looked very good.

Hopefully, Bo can turn the program around in the next 3 years.

How appropriate that Chick Liddell grace the sidelines. Formerly dominant, now fucking sucks and is a complete goddamn joke. I am not one to rub in a W, however, who the fuck spits in someone's face before the game...oh wait, a classy member of the classiest program ever. Enjoy another great season of Husker football. PS Was Joba fucking stoned?

That's right Big Red Fans. Keep blaming Callahan. He undoubtedly was responsible for the lack of discipline, failure to tackle and all those penalties your team had last night. Oh, and I'm sure Bo would never tolerate spitting by one of his players on an opposing quarterback. Oh, wait -- he did.

Three years is a pipe dream. I bet it takes you every bit of eight to ten. The question is, how patient are the greatest fans in football?

We got our ass kicked, and Mizzou looks unstoppable, but Daniel is a liar and a crybaby...

The teams walk out on opposite sides of the field, and any time he got touched there was a flag. But I guess that's what you get when you fall down into the fetal position instead of taking the hit.

Our team sucks, but playing 17 on 11 makes it that much worse...
