"Moral" Victory?

Can somebody explain to me how the Huskers can talk about "Just get the W baby!" against teams like Pitt and Maine...and yet when they lose a heartbreaker (boo hoo) at home to one of the worst all-time big 12 road teams ever in Texas Tech...suddenly, they are a team with so much heart, they should be selected for a bowl game right now?

Seriously....you look like complete crap against HORRIBLE competition, and then you talk about all that matters is the win. You then go out and BARELY beat a bad Iowa State team, and nearly catch Texas Tech napping after they nail 21 points to you in the first half.

So which is it? Heart or the W?

You want an explanation why I hate the Huskers? Here's a perfectly good reason.

Oh..and when you lose to Baylor this weekend....I'm going to chuckle....a LOT.

There's no such think as a moral victory.

The only Moral Victory the Huskers need to worry about is the one "Le Kevin" wants over the campus parking authorities.

I believe that only losers choose to celebrate a "moral" victory. Otherwise, it is just a victory...a win is a win is a win...

It's funny how some fans will justify anything that happens to them. Play badly? Doesn't matter if you win. Lose? Hey, we didn't play badly.

It's true, Nebraska played better against Texas Tech than they did against Pitt. That doesn't make the Tech game a victory. It just means that the Pitt game was just plain awful.

Even though they somehow got a "W" out of it.
