USC's second string would have given their starters a better game than the Huskers did. That game was a joy to watch. The best part was seeing the "Greatest Fans on Earth" leave early in droves.

Well I, like a lot of Husker fans am disappointed in what happened last night, but not overly shocked. I am sadly getting used to these type of outcomes in the "new era" as we just don't measure up to the TOP echelon of college football yet. I thought we had a chance against these guys and it showed with the 10-7 lead in the 2nd quarter, but a injury\fumble that turned from a possible USC disaster to a 50 yard kickoff return turned the momentum during this game and it never came back for us, and yes it would have happened in the 3rd quarter, USC is one of the best teams in the nation for a reason, we are not up to that level yet. After that Keller started forcing it a bit and USC read that just pummeled away until Pete Carroll called off the dogs in the fourth quarter (very respectable that he did that - he had the win, no sense in embarrassing a storied program on its home field). The way the Huskers fought back and played competitive (albeit against 2nd string USC players) in the fourth quarter was promising, but we are still MILES and MILES away from being a top 3 team or "Championship" caliber. That might be good enough to get us back to the Big 12 Title game, which would make me completely happy enough... but to beat the likes of Oklahoma, could be tough. Still Texas, Missouri and the rest of the Big 12 outside of Oklahoma look just as vulnerable and ANYBODY might be capable of knocking each other off. Our "Championship" game is Oct. 6th at Mizzou, that will be a classic game and hopefully Callahan learns how to play on the road, win that and we are still moving forward, lose that one and the Big 12 North will be lost and the season will not be much to talk about. I'm with them either way, GO BIG RED! HUSKER PRIDE!!!!!!

JP,

Sounded like you just drove through, because I never saw any bald headed get out of any car from 9:45 to 10:20.

Let's see you wanted to change where, you tried to get out of this by not knowing the date, you didn't want to give a physical description so I didn't have anyone to look for, now you admit you never got out of the dam car. Were you the only NE graduate that had pussidice when you graudated, or are there others?

Of course coming from JP the story will be how he beat Tyson.

What a joke?
