Same as it ever was......

Seem like old times yet? (link)

Ya know, I know you people have been longing for the good old days of the Peter brothers lately, but this is taking imitation a bit too far don't you think?

More on this story in the coming days. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

PS - Let the record show, that's 2 arrests under Pelini and Nebraska hasn't even opened up spring practice.

See, Bo does know Nebraska football -- not even six months on the job and two arrests! Way to go Bo.

And so the Quinn Pelini era officially begins. Maybe there is hope for this blog's sustained excellence yet. Can't wait to read the next updates.
Sincerely, your friend in all consuming hatred of the ignorance masses that are cornfucker nation.

Hey, look at this. It is the only rankings where Missouri will be #1 for more than 1 week.

I forgot, is getting punched in the face outside a bar the same as sexual assault?

I'm not a lawyer..but I'm pretty sure it's not. And yes..in case you forgot, a Husker punched a girl in the face in the same sort of situation and sat out ONE game. (Against Nevada.) Hannah was kicked off the team immediately.

Go think about that for a while.

Oh, and PS - the Fullmer cup is fucking idiotic. Do a little research...but then again, if you think Sexual assault is the same kinda thing..there's no hope for you anyway.

Idiots

So no Mizzu player in ther history of Mizzu football has be ACCUSED of sexual assualt? I find that hard to believe. Quite be so myopic. Congrats on the Fulmer Cup by the way. Why don't you grow some balls and go tell the guys over at Every Day Should Be Saturday that there blog sucks.

Well if you wanted to make a point that bad, perhaps you could so some research yourself. Oh, and my dad is tougher than your dad.

I barely read this blog, let alone others. I link to their page as a nice thing to do. I could give a rats ass about whether or not you have some sadistic mancrush on them or not.

They don't have to put up with you douchebags...I do.

Oh, and by the way...the reason I even mention this kid getting accused is not because I really care about him or his situation. I'll even hold judgement (somewhat) on Pelini until I see what he does. (Or what he doesn't.)

No, the best part is the little hissy fit you people throw, going out of your way defending thugs on your own team, due to your own desperate nature. Missouri also has kids get in trouble (rarely sexual assault...I certainly can't remember any)...but the differnece between us is that Mizzou fans wants that player kicked off immediately. You run to his aid like a family member was wrongly accused.

Pahtetic and predictable.

It will be interesting to see what Dr. Tom Pelini does or is Bo Osborne. It's nice to see the return to the glory days of Hucker Football.

Well, I welcome it...not because I think you're going to be great or anything...simply because it causes more conflict and strife between those of us who dislike NU, and those who love NU.

And really..isn't the hate what it's all about?

:)

I can't believe the number of Nub fans who are claiming the young lady involved 'asked for it' (to be sexually assaulted). What a class act. This douche should be kicked off the team now.

from a nubbie:

how bail is determined.

Here in Omaha last week, a guy chases his ex-girlfriend in a car, smashes two cars injuring two pedestrians, drags her (injured no less) away from the wreck and kidnaps her. He is being charged with kidnapping among several other things. His bail was $290,000.

Not to at all minimalize what Christensen did, but half a mil for grabbing an ass? Seems like the judge is trying to send him a message here. Maybe a message that needs to be sent. I guess he came into court today in prison garb and shackles. I hope everyone on that team reads about this one.

I still think half a mil is a bit on the steep side, though.

'Half a mil for grabbing an ass' -- What a sensitive young man you must be. It was more than grabbing, there was allegedly penetration of a complete stranger. I think what you should be talking about is why the idiot who terrorized and kidnapped his girlfriend doesn't have a higher bail. Maybe the judge in the former case is a woman.
